The fork of the bike has 100mm of travel, which is pretty good considering the fact that this bike is classified as more cross country than a pure MTB. We also noticed a great groupset, especially for beginners, – the Shimano Alivio set, which is the perfect introductory set for mountain bikers everywhere. They provide great value for money. Since the gear ratio of this bike is 24/36, it is pretty easy to ride up the steeper climbs. 

This isn’t a bike that makes biking easier, but it does assist with making the transition into the sport much smoother.
